Evaluation of calf hair for the trace element status of the animals

On the 16.02.2024 Melissa finished her Master studies. During her Master's project she investigated whether hair of calves can be used to asses the trace element status of the animals. She concluded that the washing procedure, the hair taken (ear or shoulder), as well as the color of the hair have a significant influence on the trace elements.

The final exam went smoothly! Congratulations!
