What we stand for and what we do
-
Analyze the elemental or molecular content of samples with the highest possible precision and accuracy, taking into account all possible sources of error.
-
To teach the same principles to Bachelor's, Master's and PhD students who participate in the courses of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Graz/NAWI and Environmental Systems Science Graz.
-
Develop new methods suitable for analytical challenges, such as the analysis of organic arsenic compounds and elemental fluorine analysis.
-
Development of elemental speciation analysis for the characterization of environmental and biological processes.
The institute consists of three established research groups and two junior research groups dealing with different aspects of analytical chemistry.
