We organized a PFAS symposium for the first time at an ICOBTE and ICHME conference, and it was a success with many participants. We gave three talks in this symposium (Ela gave a talk on pesticides and pharmaceuticals in wastewater, Viktoria presented PFAS in wastewater and Jörg presented Amnah's work on PFAS in pilot whales. In addition, the group has submitted three posters (Mercury Problem in Oil and Gas Pipeline Decommissioning (Lhiam), the Nature of Mercury Nanoparticles in Sperm Whales (Lhiam), PFAS in Snowmelt, Soil and Ski Wax (Victoria). In addition, we gave three other talks: Arsenic Speciation in Milk of Algae-Fed Cows (Chan), Fluorine Analysis with ICPMS (Jörg) and an invited talk on the use of ICPMS for non-target analysis of non-metal species (Jörg). And there were a few other talks presented with our co-authorship.
