Camilla finally published her first paper in collaboration with the University of Cambridge (UK), icddr,b (Bangladesh) and University of South Australia: she evaluated washing protocols for toenails when they are used as specimen to assess the exposure to toxic and essential elements using synchrotron XRF and XANES. This is part of an epidemiological study on the exposure of people in Dhaka Bangladesh.
